How to Play Phase 10?

One of the most popular card games in Phase 10. In this game, there are 10 cards which are in order from 1-to 10 that are in the hand of a player before starting the game. Minimum 2 and the maximum 6 players can play the game at a time. There is a minimum requirement of the phase to lay down the card one time but here is a condition that the additional cards are added into the phase directly.

In one round it is compulsory to complete all ten phases. Once the round end, the players add up all the scores and the card will stay in their hands. The main goal o the game is to have the minimum sum of scores in the end. If your round is not completed then try it again.

To play the game, you must know some steps to play the game well Some of the phase 10 rules are given below:

 Step 1:

There are 12 cards in the deck of Phase 10. These are numeric cards that have four colors, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Red. And each color has 2 cards. Of these 10 cards, eight cards are the wild cards, and the other four cards are skip cards. Saving the important cards in the game is one of the compulsory tasks to do. In a part of any phase, you can not use the skip card.

Step 2:

There are 10 phases in the game. And it is compulsory for the players to complete this order accurately. A Group of the same number of cards is known as a set. The sequential group of numbers is known as a run, those are 2 3 4 5 7 8 9 10 11 12. from the wild card you can play any card of any color and set.

The phases are:

• 2 sets of 3
• 1 set of 3 + 1 run of 4
• 1 set of 4 + 1 run of 4
• 1 run of 7
• 1 run of 8
• 1 run of 9
• 2 sets of 4
• 7 cards of one color
• 1 set of 5 + 1 set of 2
• 1 set of 5 + 1 set of 2.

Step 3:

Now yo have the total number of players then 10 cards will be deal to each player. In the beginning phase one will be started by the everyone. In the hand of the every player cards are present they can cchoose the any sequence according to their choice in any order. The arrangement of the cards help the player to tackle the cards. Reordering the players is helpful for you. Put the cards in a stack that is left behind. Now show the picture of your card by flipping the card face that is present at the top of the pile.

Step 4:

For the initiation of the turn draw one card. Put the one card down from the pile or show the face. Discard a card at the end of your turn. and in the same manner, the turn will be shifted to the next player.

Step 5:

When the turn of the player is start, drawn the card and check the cards to lay down one of them. Lay the cards of phase 3. When you are laying down a face of the cards.But if you want to discard the game you can lay down your all cards.

Step 6:

At the completion of the phase, you must play with the all remaining cards that are present in your hand. At the start of the turn draw one card and at the end of the turn, mist drops the one card.

Step 7:

Now when all the players are laid down their cards and sat with the empty cards in their hands. When the round is over, then the left players will assign the scores to all the left cards, and the writer all the scores, add the scores and also write them down. 1-9 numeric cards have a worth of 5 points and 10-12 numeric ards have a worth of 10 points. The wild and skip cards are worth 25 points. On the scoring the color of the cards does not matter. Dont forget the goal, to keep the lowest score ion the end of the game.

Step 8:

When all the phases are completed and the game is at the final round then the final round is just to note the scores. From all the rounds of the game, the scores will be noted and then added up. The person whose score is the least in number will win.
